The overall sound is good with clarity and crispness absolutely given. A bit disturbing is a strange artificial background noise which sounds as if the recording was remastered after transfer to CDR. Some stray conversations and whistles are audible from the audience but never get intrusive. "40" is of a significant lower quality than the rest of the songs (a lot more tape hiss).
