The overall sound is muddy and lacks clarity and crispness. You have to play around with the bass level to improve it as good as possible. Some songs sound distorted as if the tape used for transfer had an uneven speed during the transfer process or as if the taper shook his walkman while moshing around?! Audience noise is audible but never intrusive.
