The sound on this recording is generally clear but an audible hiss takes away some of the crispness. Mentionable flaws are the soft ticks between some of the songs, and bad skips during the first minute of "11O'Clock Tick Tock". Also the taper adjusts the volume level during this time. There is an audible edit between "Bad" and the prelude to "October" before "40", latter one costing some words of Bono's announcement.
