The sound quality of this recording is very good. Clarity and crispness are excellent. To become an excellent recording for me, it could have a tiny bit more bass. On the other hand, the guitar sounds chirmy and powerful and the vocals come through crystal clear (at least as clear as Bono's voice allows him to sing). Audience noise level is quite high but never comes close to drown out the music. Also, some hollers and claps from people standing close to the taper are audible throughout the recording as are stray conversations between the songs. The audience noise between the encores is edited out. A real must-have is the "alternative" version of "I Still Haven't Found" played with guest musicians from the audience.
