The concert was taped from the ranks off Adam's side of the stage. The camera is stable, the view on the left side of the picture is sometimes obstructed by a head. The colours are a bit blurry and therefore the shapes are not very sharp. Even though the camera appears close to the stage action it is hard to detect many details. The camera focuses mainly on Bono (with the Edge at his side) but also zooms in on Larry or Adam from time to time. The first part of "11 O'ClocK Tock Tock" is missing as is the encore except of "40".
The sound is very good if you subtract the first three minutes (11 O'Clock Tick Tock). There, the music is garbly as if the tape used for transfer was damaged.
A very nice recording, considering the rarity of audience video recordings from this period but the mediocre quality of colour and sharpness is a definite drawback.
The additional tracks on disc 2 are a real bonus. The interviews are all from the Unforgettbale Fire period. The recording of the Live Aid appearance was transferred from a very good source with an excellent picture quality.
